Kylian Mbappe who currently plays for French champions Paris-Saint-Germain has been urged by former Arsenal star Robert Pires to leave France and move to Spanish champions Real Madrid.

The France international currently has a contract with Paris-Saint-Germain which will expire in the next two years as the club's chiefs are trying to convince him to sign another deal.

There have been reports that talks over Kylian Mbappe signing a new deal has stalled and he could be sold next summer for the club to avoid losing him for free.

Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool are the other club who have been linked with signing Kylian Mbappe this summer.

According to the report on Metro citing AS, Pires explained that a move to Real Madrid would be the best for Kylian Mbappe.

‘'Of course, I’m French, I like Paris Saint-Germain and I’d like him to stay in Ligue 1, but if he wants to keep growing as a player, he should sign for Real Madrid.''

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Marcus Rashford who plays for Premier League side Manchester United overtook Paris-Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe after scoring hat-trick against Leipzig.

The encounter which was played on Wednesday night, October 28, was a Champions League clash in which the England international came off the bench to score thrice in 27 minutes.

Rashford's trio of strikes makes him just the fifth player in the Champions League history to come off the bench and hit three goals before the end of the encounter.

Most incredibly, his 27 minute spell was the shortest time on the pitch that anybody had managed to achieve the feat in in the history of the Champions League.

In October last year, Kylian Mbappe also came off the bench to score hat-trick against Club Brugge in the Champions League.
