- Ziyech, Zouma and Werner scored as Blues secured another clean sheet
- Chelsea kept their fourth consecutive clean sheet in all competitions and climbed into fourth place in the Premier League after the victory
Hakim Ziyech scored his first Premier League goal as Chelsea secured a convincing 3-0 win against Burnley at Turf Moor.
The Moroccan opened the scoring for the Blues in the 26th minute from a Tammy Abraham assist as his shot found its way into the net after poor goalkeeping from Nick Pope.
The goal saw Ziyech find the back of the net in consecutive games for Chelsea as he also scored in the Blues 4-0 win against Krasnodar in the Champions League.
Despite several attempt to increase the lead, Chelsea went into the half-time break with a 1-0 lead.
At the start of the second half, Burnley came out fighting and had more of the ball possession but they were unable to make anything out of that as Chelsea took a two goal lead in the 63rd minute from a set-piece.
Mason Mount whipped in a corner which was perfectly met by Kurt Zouma.
Seven minutes later, Chelsea made it 3-0 after nice exchange of passes. Ziyech found Werner in space as the German produced a nice first touch before placing the ball beyond Nick Pope's reach.
Olivier Giroud, who came on for Tammy Abraham, tapped in for a fourth in the 79th minute from Ben Chilwell's cross, but the offside flag denied the Frenchman.
However, Chelsea held on to claim all three points as they kept their fourth consecutive clean sheet in all competitions and climbed into fourth place in the Premier League.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Manchester City defeated Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon, October 31, thanks to a lone strike by Kyle Walker who fired home from outside the area in the 28th minute.
It was a muted celebration from the Sheffield United academy graduate.
Man City started the game brightly but had to hold on at the Bramall Lane to claim all three points.
