Adamma Ohakim has shared her thoughts after she discovered how gender roles were being taught at her son's school. The former governor's daughter revealed she had decided to join her son in his online class.
However, what she saw did not sit right with her. She shared a screenshot of a passage that spoke about men working while women managed domestic affairs of the home.

Adamma opined that the syllabus should be adjusted as children need to know that women can do much more than just cooking and cleaning.

She added that it is important to create a learning environment where little boys can learn that women can be much more, and little girls can dream of becoming whatever they want to irrespective of their gender.
In response to the gender topic, Adamma sent a mail to the school saying that women work too. She also had a conversation with a female teacher from the school.
