Frank Lampard played against these two players during his active playing time as he faced Cristiano Ronaldo in the Premier League and Lionel Messi in the Champions League.
According to the report on UK Mirror, Frank Lampard was asked to pick the best between these two and the Englishman settled for the Argentine.
"I'm gonna go Messi on this on pure, natural talent but what Ronaldo has done has been absolutely incredible.
"The two are Xavi and Andres Iniesta at Barcelona because they were great players, they were kind of not the biggest and quite slight.
"It just shows it doesn't matter because sometimes people think you have to be huge to be a footballer player. You don't."
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Pep Guardiola who is the current gaffer of Premier League side Manchester City has reportedly been linked with a return to Spanish giants Barcelona so as for the club to fulfill Messi's wish.
Barcelona are currently without a president following the resignation of Josep Bartomeu and his board following a troubled filled season.
Last season, Barcelona failed to win any title in all competitions and the Catalans also suffered an embarrassing defeat in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
That defeat led to the sacking of Setien at the Nou Camp in which Barcelona hired former star defender Ronald Koeman as new gaffer.
But before the start of the ongoing League season, Barcelona board had serious issue with Lionel Messi who wanted to leave with Manchester City reported as likely destination.
