One wrote:

“Wow. Watching the game and they took a knee for the end racism campaign and more than half of Krasnodar stood.”

A second added said:

“So at least half of the Krasnodar team didn’t take the knee for BLM.
“Why does that not surprise me, from a Russian team?”

A third said:

“Hey @btsport, why are you cutting away from the Krasnodar players not taking the knee?
“Keep the camera on them and shame them.”

Despite coming under pressure in the opening minutes of the game, Chelsea managed to get their noses in front through Callum Hudson-Odoi shortly after Jorginho missed a penalty.

Timo Werner then scored the Blues' second from a penalty with Hakim Ziyech adding the third and his first goal for his new club.

Christian Pulisic wrapped up the scoring as they got to the top of their group after Sevilla managed to put one goal past Rennes.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Marseille vs Man City experienced some confusing scenes as the Ligue 1 club refused to kneel in respect of the Black Lives Matter movement, Sport Bible.

However, the Premier League players all knelt on one knee while the French club held one another around the centre circle.

Leagues across Europe have observed the Black Lives Matters movement since football returned back in June due to the pandemic.

According to Get French Football News, the gesture has not been observed in France as Marseille players waited for City stars to stand up before kick-off.

Legit.ng also reported that Jose Mourinho has jokingly expressed discontent with Tottenham stars after they were all spotted using their cell phones in the dressing room, Daily Mail.

Spurs woke up from the dead in the second half to grind out a result at Burnley on a Monday night Premier League fixture at Turf Moore.

The Clarets dominated most part of the game as they created several chances on goal but could not make it count.
