Mourinho Jokingly Tells Tottenham Stars About Their Phone Addiction

Jose Mourinho has jokingly expressed discontent with Tottenham stars after they were all spotted using their cell phones in the dressing room, Daily Mail.

Spurs woke up from the dead in the second half to grind out a result at Burnley on a Monday night Premier League fixture at Turf Moore.

The Clarets dominated most part of the game as they created several chances on goal but could not make it count.

Hugo Lloris made vital stops and Harry Kane even had a ball cleared off the line to save his team from going behind.

It was until the 76th minute Son Heung-Min headed home from a Kane's assisted header that gave Mourinho's men the undeserved win.

Despite moving to fifth on the Premier League table Mourinho is not too happy with his players as they all picked up their phones in the changing after their lackluster performance.

The Portuguese gaffer posted a picture of himself and his players glued to their phones in the dressing on Instagram and said:

"After a great victory in a really hard match... Sign of the times."

It was Tottenham's third consecutive win on the road and Mourinho appreciated how Burnley made them labour to earn maximum points. Mourinho told Sky Sports after the victory:

"It was exactly what I was expecting. I know Sean, I know how difficult he can make it for the best of attacking teams.
"He's very clever, he plays with what he has and he gave us a very difficult match. So congratulations to him and his boys.
"My players didn't play the quality football that we want but because of Burnley, not because of us. So I think we did a positive game."

Tottenham will return to action in the Europa League away to Belgian side Royal Antwerp after defeating Austrian club LASK in their first game.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Tottenham Hotspur took advantage of Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood's failure to track back in their massive victory at Old Trafford.

Spurs ran off with maximum points after thrashing the Red Devils 6-1 with both Harry Kane and Son Heung-min scoring two goals in the game.

Jose Mourinho was said to have instructed his attackers to mount pressure on the helpless defenders and the strategy produced six superb goals despite conceding an early spot-kick.
