As policemen, officials of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) desert Lagos roads and neighbourhoods, residents are lamenting their absence.

According to a report by the Guardian, Lagos residents now feel insecure with the absence of policemen within the metropolis.

The recent looting and burning of police stations where arms and ammunition were carted away exacerbated the fear.

Recall that 25 police formations were razed and five others vandalised in Lagos.
