Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, is the latest face of the popular international sportswear brand, Puma, a brand he had always loved as a child.

As reported by The Guardian, Wizkid said that he was proud to have been chosen to represent the brand.

Following the unveiling, the marketing director of Puma stated that Wizkid was a groundbreaking artiste, and he exuded the passion they needed to represent the brand. He further said that they looked forward to working with him.

Starboy on his part, also stated that he had always loved the brand, and the decision to accept their offer when it came was completely natural.

He also noted that the Puma suede is a classic shoe that can be worn regardless of age and he was sure that his fans would really connect with the brand.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Wizkid appeared to have been hiding at his third baby mama, Jada Pollock’s birthday bash in the UK. The party was a very private one with family and friends, but it seemed like the star was not ready to be a part of the celebration.

In the clip which was posted on Jada's Instagram story, as the happy birthday song rented the air and the camera panned towards Wizkid, he bent down to screen his face off the camera.

When the video was reposted on Twitter by a user, @itzbasito, it drew many reactions from people.
