In line with recent happenings in the country, one thing Nigerians demanded relentlessly was that President Muhammadu Buhari addressed them.

After days of asking, he eventually did on October 22, and his speech left a trail of mixed reactions from nationals.

Nigerian artiste Small Doctor was one of the disappointed bunch.

According to the musician, Buhari's nationwide broadcast left him numb. He stated that he has suffered as a Nigerian but his children must not go through the same experience.

He said:

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Small Doctor led a massive peaceful protest, and mobilized youths from Agege to Alausa, Ikeja.

The music star who called for the protest on social media, especially for people in Agege and its environs, said the people would never stop until their voices were heard and police brutality in the country is brought to an end.

The singer also announced that the take-off point was Agege, Pen Cinema and that they would leave early in the morning under the sun or in the rain. He also implored his fans to wear their face masks.

He wrote:

“Another peaceful protest tomorrow [friday 9th Oct]Agege Lagos Mainland, I’m coming out with me,myself & I. Our demand is straightforward, end police brutality. We’ll never stop until our voice is heard.”
