Nigerians are good people who usually rally round their own in times of difficulty, and this reality played out with a lady identified as Lateefah Ahmed-Ibrahim.
The lady with the Twitter handle @ahmed_lateefah took to Twitter to seek help after being told that her husband needed N16 million for a kidney transplant.

Under 12 hours of crying out on the media platform, Nigerians raised over N2.5 million for the woman so as to save her husband's life.
Donations were made into Lateefah's ailing husband's account. Funds were also sent into a GoFundMe account that was opened to save Ahmed Ibrahim.
According to the woman, a total of N4 million has been donated into her husband's account.
A quick check into the GoFundMe account, Legit.ng realised that Good Samaritans have donated $2,085 (812,897.50) for the cause.
In other news, the Nigerian youths that participated in the EndSARS protest at Lekki Toll Gate warmed hearts on social media after donating over N500,000 to an elderly woman selling groundnut at the protest ground.
The disclosure was made by a Twitter user with the handle @sama_on_point who shared pictures of the woman on the social media platform.
Tweeps took to social media to share their thoughts on the kind gesture of the protesters towards the elderly woman.
