Following President Buhari's speech on the night of October 22, many Nigerians have now resorted to making jokes and bants on social media over the president's perceived lack of sympathy for the country and the lives lost.
Well, it appears Abdulhakeem Seyi Gbangbola is not pleased with the attitude of celebrities and other Nigerians. He took to his Instagram page to blast such people making a joke out of the #EndSARS crisis.
The Nigerian activist accused celebrities of leading a 'comedy protest' after deceiving people into losing their lives for no cause. Gbangbola stated that he expected a week of sober reflection but celebrities have since moved on to making bants.

"I said it before. They forget easily. Walahi, What a shame. It came even earlier than I thought. I imagined a few weeks of sober reflection Over the events of the last couple of weeks. Hmm O mà sé o! You favourite celebrities are also leading the new comedy protest. They say it’s all bants. They already mock the dead with these jokes. The ones who were deceived into losing their lives for no cause.

Meanwhile, Nigerian reality star, Gifty Powers, has taken to social media to apologise to her fans and followers following a post she shared on her Instagram page in which she criticised #EndSARS protests.
