However, after undergoing another one, the result also returned positive which means that he will remain in isolation for another 10 days while he recovers.
Although Crespo insisted that nothing can be taken away from the former Real Madrid attacker, he just prefers to name Messi as a better player between the two stars as reported by Football Italia.
“I am looking forward to seeing Juve-Barcellona but I would choose Messi without taking anything away from Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Leo is a compatriot, I guy who I saw growing up. The Copa America is on next summer, Argentina and Colombia are the organizers. I hope we can go all way to the end."
The 45-year-old added that the situation between Lionel Messi and Barcelona is unfortunate but hoping to see both parties solve their differences. He said:
“I am sorry to see a sad Leo Messi at Barcelona, it’s his home. I hope he will resume the excellent relations he used to have or it could kill the love among the player and the fans. People management has to do with his problems.
Crespo is also delighted for Andre Pirlo after being named as a replacement for Maurizio Sarri as Juventus boss.
