The government said it would not allow the country to be thrown into anarchy following the violence that has trailed the #EndSARS protests.

The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, stated this on Saturday, October 17, when he featured on a late-night Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) news programme, “Weekend File.”

Also, following the purported report that he is one of the sponsors of the #EndSARS protest in Lagos and other parts of the country, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has reacted.
