Legit.ng earlier reported that Barcelona lost to a very much tactical side Getafe on Saturday evening, October 17, as the hosts proved too strong for the Catalan giants.

The only goal of the game came in the 56th minute when Jaime Mata slotted home from the spot as they record their first win over Barcelona in 18 games - a sequence spanning eight years and 11.

Getafe pressed so hard and following a set-piece which resulted into scrambles, De Jong was deemed to have fouled Djene and a spot-kick was given before Mata dispatched home for the only goal of the game.
