Hardworking Calabar traffic warden celebrated by protesters (video)

A traffic warden in Calabar, Cross River state recently experienced the love and support of some anti-SARS protests in the state.

A video shared by @mediagist on Instagram showed the man being celebrated at his duty post by the excited youths.

According to the post, the man identified as Igri Nna Nkanu, was described as very dedicated to duty and hardworking too.

The event which took place on Friday, October 16 showed as they gathered around him, carried him shoulder cheered him on for doing a job.

In the video, some of the protesters could be seen spraying some money on him.

Twitter user, @JC_Jokes shared the video and wrote:

"The best traffic warden in Calabar was appreciated by the protesters.. You can always see him doing his thing with a smile on his face along Mary Slessor Road. They even donated some cash gifts to him. Nigerians are good people despite everything!"

Only a few days ago, a traffic warden in Abuja was left in tears after protesting youths shared some of their refreshments with him.

In the post shared by @massmediaforum on Instagram, the officer was given food, drinks and fruits by the protesters as a recognition of his good works.

When the youths approached him at his post, he tried to flee but changed his mind and remained calm after realizing their motive. The overwhelmed officer broke down in tears after the youths left.
