Jaines Andrades worked for Baystate Health as a cleaner but always had a dream of becoming a nurse and so she kept on working hard and at the same time studying for her dream.
Through her cleaning job, she was able to fund her studies and 10 years later, she got a job at the same place she started as a cleaner 10 years ago.
She went on social to inspire others sharing her work badges, from the old to present, accompanying the photo with a powerful message. She wrote:
"Ten years of work but it was worth it! I’m a provider at the same place I use to clean."
Speaking to CNN affiliate WBZ-TV, Jaines said she would do her cleaning job again if it meant being around patients o offer her help as it has been her lifelong dream. She said:
"Even if it was cleaning, as long as I was near patients care I'd be able to observe things. I thought it was a good idea. I just really love the intimacy with people."
