- N'Golo Kante could be leaving Premier League side, Chelsea, next year
- The Frenchman was said to be angry at Lampard for not giving him permission to attend a wedding
- Kante may be moving to reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid
Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of losing France international N'Golo Kante who is said to be interested in leaving the Stamford Bridge next summer.
Since joining Chelsea from Leicester City, N'Golo Kante has been one of the best midfielders in the world considering his superb performances for the Blues.
Last two seasons, the Frenchman played a good role which helped Chelsea to win the Europa League title beating fellow Premier League side Arsenal in the final.
But last term, Chelsea players were unable to win any title although they qualified for the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League.
Kante is currently with France on international duty for the friendly match against Croatia on Tuesday night, October 13.
According to the report on Daily Mail citing Le Parisien, they claimed that Kante is livid for Frank Lampard's refusal to allow him miss training for a friend's wedding.
The report added that Kante's representatives are now planning to secure a Chelsea exit for the 27-year-old World Cup winner.
Kante still has three more years left on his current deal at Chelsea and Paris-Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in signing him.
Since joining Chelsea, Kante has played 175 games for the Blues and has helped them win one Premier League title, one FA Cup triumph and the 2019 Europa League trophy.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea's new goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has been ruled out for about two weeks after picking up an injury while on international duty for Senegal.
The 28-year-old suffered a thigh problem during his country's friendly game against Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
However, the Blues' medical team has assessed the extent and has assured Frank Lampard the injury is not as bad as it seems according to The Athletic.
Reports claim Mendy is likely to miss a trip to Southampton next weekend but will be back early enough for their Champions League against Sevilla.
