Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho had an intense clash following Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham in 2018, during the Portuguese’ spell at the Old Trafford club, Mirror reports.

The same complaint by the tactician re-occurred again that let in two goals during Spurs 6-1 win over the Red Devils in October.

Pogba has been inconsistent at Manchester United due to recurring injury and his problems were compounded as he started that match against Tottenham.

The Frenchman recently indicated his willingness to join Spanish champions Real Madrid four years after joining the Premier League club.

Footage from the loss to Mourinho’s current side, though, suggests the ex-United manager was right about the midfielder in his criticism.

In the second half, with the north London side already 4-1 up, the midfielder was seen on the left wing – but he did not pick up Serge Aurier’s run.

With Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg picking him up the Ivorian’s run, Pogba finds himself too far away to put any pressure on the full-back for his goal.

And it sees him pull back from putting any pressure on the Spurs man as he drives into the back of the net.

Pogba has however admitted that he would love to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the near future.

However, the 27-year-old who is currently on international duty for France insisted that he is happy playing at Man United.
