Luis Suarez can not wait for Atletico Madrid's clash against Barcelona in November as the striker claims he will not celebrate if he scores against his former side.

However, the Uruguayan claims he would point fingers at the club's board who unceremoniously demanded he should leave the Camp Nou in the summer.

The 33-year-old spent six years at Catalonia following his arrival from Liverpool in the summer of 2014 and he won league titles and the Champions League.

But after the arrival of Ronald Koeman, it is understood that the Dutch boss had a minute call with the striker that his services are no longer needed at the club.

And the Uruguayan immediately left for Barcelona La Liga rivals Atletico where he scored a brace in his debut against Granada.

Suarez said:

“I will not shout ‘goal’ but I will point to those responsible. I spent six years there and felt I had earned respect.
“I deserved to know my fate before I found out from the press.
“Also the coach Ronald Koeman came to me saying that he doesn’t count on me.
"But that was after the leadership of the club had already said there was going to be a change of players.
“That raises doubts about whether it was the coach’s decision or a directive from above.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Luis Suarez has explained he knew that Lionel Messi felt bad about his departure at Spanish giants Barcelona after spending six years together at the Nou Camp.

The Uruguayan striker and Lionel Messi established a formidable pairing up front at Barcelona where they both won the Spanish La Liga and the Champions League titles.

But Barcelona were not in their best form last season as they failed to win any title in all competitions which made the club's chiefs to sack Setien.
