Anthony Joshua's most awaited fight with Tyson Fury is drawing closer after Deontay's trilogy fight with the Gypsy King has reportedly been called off.

Fury and the Bronze Bomber agreed to a third fight but the current pandemic and an injury to the American's bicep have complicated matters.

Daily Mail claims Wilder will not be able to exercise his rematch clause to compete in the trilogy fight in the remaining weeks of 2020.

Wilder suffered a seventh-round stoppage from Fury back in February but the coast is clear for the British heavyweight who signed an initial two-fight agreement to proceed with the fight in 2021.

However, Joshua must defeat IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev in December after winning back his belt from Andy Ruiz, Jr.

On the other hand, Fury could be given another opponent to defend his WBC belt before the build-up to the big fight with AJ is understood to be earmarked for the famous Wembley Stadium.

But if fans are restricted from attending the event, promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren will be looking at the Middle East or China.

“Skill would beat Joshua, not power. Me and Joshua both have the power. But skills control the power. I have more skills,” Ajagba told Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Efe Ajagba is already relishing a chance to face two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, claiming he has more skills than the British-Nigerian champion.

Ajagba who holds a hundred percent record in the ring having won all his 13 bouts with 11 knockouts is a major prospect in the world of boxing.

The 26-year-old Nigerian who was born in Ughelli Delta state says he has what it takes to beat Joshua who currently holds the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles.
