Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo became the latest football star whose house was burgled by a robber.
The 35-year-old is currently in Portugal camp for their UEFA Nations League against France and Sweden this month.
While away on international duty, his house was under attack, with the robber targeting his mother and brother in the house while carrying out his evil act.
SunSport however reports that the forward's sister claims the thief being hunted by police in Madeira is a 'drug addict'. Elma Aveiro said her family knows him and insisted that:
“He’ll never get into the house again.”
The publication further reports that the robber stole a signed Juventus jersey and a few other personal items after gaining entry into the mansion through a street-level garage door.
Authorities were able to identify the suspect from the CCTV cameras mounted in the house after the alarm was triggered but he has not been arrested.
Cristiano’s doting mum Dolores Aveiro and his older brother Hugo, who live there, are thought to have been inside at the time. Elma told local press:
“He was in the rubbish storage area. He was probably looking for food but was discovered pretty quickly. He was spotted on the cameras.”
Legit.ng earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez was present at the Luis Vuitton fashion show on Tuesday, October 6 as she stunned the crowd in a logo trench coat and red heels.
Dailymail are reporting that the model was immediately spotted after she arrived the venue in Paris as she also made solo appearance at the show.
The 26-year-old flashed the fans with her leggy display when she exited the car as she wore a coat valued at £4500 before heading into the newly restored La Samaritaine department store.
