Nigerian man says an average home spends N150k on food monthly, many react

- A Nigerian man, Habu Umaru, has caused a lot of controversies online following his take on the amount an average home spends on food

- According to him, foodstuff takes N150,000, internet need, maid, and light cost N55,000 as he put entertainment bill at N20,000

A Nigerian man with the Twitter name Habu Umaru has generated massive reactions on social media after he said that an average home in the country runs on N247,000 monthly.

He was saying this in response to young people who come online to put down the effort of parents trying to survive despite all odds stacked against them.

There were many who disagreed with his analysis, saying many homes in the country do not need that much to survive.

In his breakdown of the expenses, Habu apportioned N20,000 for internet need, N15,000 for electricity, N30,000, and another N20,0000 go for fuel and maid respectively.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian entrepreneur, Chimdi Ibeawuchi, revealed how she made N10 million shortly after her degree at the Caritas University in Enugu.
