Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to celebrate his mother on her special day.
The 22-year-old striker is currently in England camp for this month's UEFA Nations League fixtures against Wales, Belgium and England.
He recounted the numerous sacrifices of Melanie Rashford while growing up, adding that her strength was beyond explanation.
The Red Devils forward insisted that with his mum's support, he can go to any length and achieve anything. He tweeted:
"My superhero. For every sacrifice, cuddle, every word of encouragement. Every bus trip, skipped meals, every cheer on the sidelines in the freezing cold.
"Your strength still blows me away to this day. With you by my side there’s nothing I can’t do. I love you mum, enjoy your day."
This is not the first time the attacker would be celebrating his mum, having already bought her a new house earlier this year.
Rashford also revealed that she helped him secure his move to Old Trafford to join their academy when he was 11.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has decided to buy his lovely mother Melanie a new house in England so as for him to be free from doing anything he likes without being cautioned.
Since the 22-year-old England international joined Manchester United, he has been living with his mother who has been monitoring him.
But according to the report on UK Mirror, Marcus Rashford feels he is now matured enough to be living alone and however bought his mum a place of her own.
