Karim Benzema he has been scoring more goals since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid to Juventus in 2018.
The Frenchman and the Portuguese were strike-partners during Ronaldo's nine-year spell at the Spanish capital.
And out of Ronaldo's 438 goals in 451 games for Los Blancos, Benzema assisted 47 times for the Juventus striker, more than any other player.
But Benzema's goalscoring stats has been on the rise since Ronaldo left the Bernabeu and insists he had became more selfless to help his old pal.
"In Lyon I played in another way.
"Now I'm free on the pitch, I like to touch the ball.
"With Cristiano I changed my style, I played for him.
"I had someone who did double or triple my goals and I had to adapt.
"I thought it wouldn't cost me anything, I just had to change my way of playing and pass it on to him more.
"I put my goal scoring aside."
Benzema scored just five La Liga goals in Ronaldo's final season in Madrid but his tally rose to 21 league goals in the last two seasons.
He was just second behind Lionel Messi in La Liga scorer's chart but was named the best player in the Spanish topflight division.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo has continued to add more goalscoring records to his name after helping Juventus earn a 2-2 draw against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Portuguese superstar scored in each half of the game and helped Juventus come back twice to earn a draw with ten men.
