Jurgen Klopp who is the handler of reigning Premier League champions Liverpool has explained how he almost snubbed becoming the Reds' gaffer when the calls came five years ago.
The German tactician is celebrating half a decade stay at Anfield and has already written his name in gold winning the Premier League title for the Reds.
But this achievement would not have been gotten if Jurgen Klopp had rejected answering the calls from Liverpool chiefs.
During that time, Jurgen Klopp, wife and his children were in Portugal for holiday and his partner was not happy when he ended the holiday.
According to the report on Daily Mail, Klopp explained to the club's website below.
''I cannot forget the moment when I got the call from my agent that Liverpool is interested. And the feeling I had in that moment.
''I said it a couple of times, I was completely in a holiday mood; we were in Portugal, in Lisbon, with the family, both boys were with us. Ulla and I were sitting in an outside coffee bar.
''Actually I didn't take a lot of phone calls in that time, it was like: "Come on, don't bother me". But then I saw it and it was like I had a feeling it could be something interesting. So I take the phone and he tells me, and I felt the excitement inside.''
Last three seasons, Jurgen Klopp and his wards got to the final of the Champions League which they lost against Real Madrid, but they made it again the following term and won.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how English professional striker Rhian Brewster completed a move to Sheffield United from reigning Premier League champions Liverpool with target of getting regular playing time.
The trio of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have been leading the attack for Liverpool for the past three seasons in which no one has been able to break in.
Crystal Palace and Aston Villa were interested in signing the 20-year-old from Liverpool, but Rhian Brewster decided to move to Sheffield United.
