Joel Idelho has reportedly completed his move to Arsenal from Dutch League side Ajax after penning a professional contract with the Premier League outfit.
The North Londoners were decent on transfer deadline day after bringing in Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid for about £45 million.
Willian, Cedric Soares, Gabriel, and Runar Alex Runarsson also made a switch to the Emirates Stadium among others this transfer window.
Metro UK reports that Idelho joined Ajax earlier this year but did not last long with the club before attracting attention from the Premier League outfit.
His move to Arsenal is expected to help him continue his professional development programme under Mikel Arteta's watch.
The publication further revealed that the club confirmed the move on their official website, welcoming the player after describing him as a player ‘best known for his pace and accuracy.’
According to Goal.com, the teenage forward signed a four-year deal at the Emirates in a move costing the Gunners around £450,000.
Both Idelho will join Per Mertesacker’s Academy and work under Steve Bould in the Under-23s as they look to work their way towards the first team under Mikel Arteta.
