President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide Lauretta Onochi has called out singer Wizkid on social media following a recent comment he made.

Onochie in a post shared on her official Twitter page noted that while there is nothing disrespectful about the singer calling the president an old man, his way and manner of approach was not entirely in a good light.

"It's not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth."

Onochie’s post comes several hours after Wizkid clamped down on the president for sending a COVID-19 recovery message to President Trump and his wife amid an ongoing outcry by Nigerian youths to end the SARS menace.

The singer in his post urged the president not to concern himself with the affairs of America and he should face his country where his attention is needed.

Onochie is not the only one who tackled the Smile crooner for his recent comments to the president.

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that controversial singer, Blackface, called out Wizkid via posts shared on Twitter and a video shared on Instagram.

Blackface noted that while things may truly be going wrong in the country, he would never have addressed the president of the nation like Wizkid did.

The singer also noted that Buhari is old enough to Wizkid’s father.
