However, he believes Lebron will outshine the 57-year-old if they had a chance to play against each other in a one-on-one contest. He told Shannon Sharpe on ‘Club Shay Shay’:
"The Best Ever' boxer offered his views on basketball’s best ever, commenting that LeBron’s stature would play into his favour in a one-on-one contest, before giving a completely different answer to his first pick.
"LeBron James, I'm going to choose. If they played against each other, LeBron James is too big and strong and too fast. But if I had to choose one, Ima choose Michael Jordan.
James has won three NBA champions so far in his career (2012, 2013 and 2016) but could claim his fourth if the 35-year-old leads his Los Angeles Lakers to their next two victories over the Miami Heat.
