Floyd Mayweather has weighed in on one of the biggest debates in the world of basketball after making clear points about the legends involved.
Michael Jordan may have left the scene for over a decade now, he remains one of the best to have graced the game.
However, b-ball has produced amazing talents who are bossing the court at the moment with comparisons being drawn by those who have watched them play.
Lebron James is one of the household names when it comes to the game this period and his greatness has been compared to that of Jordan.
Mayweather, who retired without losing a single boxing fight after winning all 50 fights he engaged in said MJ is the 'Greatest Of All Time'
However, he believes Lebron will outshine the 57-year-old if they had a chance to play against each other in a one-on-one contest. He told Shannon Sharpe on ‘Club Shay Shay’:
"The Best Ever' boxer offered his views on basketball’s best ever, commenting that LeBron’s stature would play into his favour in a one-on-one contest, before giving a completely different answer to his first pick.
"LeBron James, I'm going to choose. If they played against each other, LeBron James is too big and strong and too fast. But if I had to choose one, Ima choose Michael Jordan.
James has won three NBA champions so far in his career (2012, 2013 and 2016) but could claim his fourth if the 35-year-old leads his Los Angeles Lakers to their next two victories over the Miami Heat.
As it stands, LA Lakers take a 2-0 advantage in the NBA finals series with the 6ft 9in forward already amassing 58 points in the opening two games.
