There was a buzz on social media some days ago after the news broke that the son of former Nigerian vice president, Atiku Abubakar, and daughter of former chairman Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, would be getting married.

Well, the D-day has finally come as the two families came together to join their children Fatima and Aliyu, in holy matrimony in spite of their political differences.

Photos from the wedding ceremony which is currently going down in the country’s capital have surfaced on social media.

The bride was looking pretty in a lovely wedding gown while the groom rocked an agbada complemented with a turban.
