- Callum Hudson-Odoi could be finding it difficult to break into Chelsea’s starting line-up this season
- Bayern Munich have contacted the Premier League club over possible loan deal for the youngster
- The European champions are considering a season-long loan - in a contract that could be made permanent
Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the radar of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and reports say the German club has contacted Chelsea in their quest to landing the winger on a season-long loan.
Sky Germany are reporting that an official proposal for the player has been tendered detailing a loan deal for the England U21 star as well as an option to buy him permanently.
With the transfer window closing on October 5, reports say there is a breakthrough in negotiations between both clubs.
Recall that the 19-year-old was in action for full 90 minutes when Chelsea lost to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup fourth-round, and he has featured in four appearances for the Blues so far this season.
He was on the score-sheet when Chelsea came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 away at West brom in the Premier League as he scored his side’s second goal.
Hudson-Odoi still has four more years on his contract with Chelsea as his deal lapses in 2024, however Bayern Munich are highly interested in the youngster.
The Bavarians made an offer of £30million for the services of the player during the 2019 January transfer window and the Blues also rejected a fourth bid worth around £22.5m in the summer of 2019.
The player who grew through the youth ranks at Chelsea has netted nine goals and made 11 assists in his 65 games across all competitions for Chelsea since he was handed his debut in 2018.
And with the arrival of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, breaking into the Blues starting line-up will be a herculean task this season.
Willian has joined Arsenal on a free transfer, while Ross Barkley has signed for Aston Villa on loan for the 2020/21 campaign.
Also, Legit.ng earlier reported that Antonio Rudiger was left out of the Chelsea squad in the last two matchdays and now reports say Blues’ boss Frank Lampard is considering a loan deal for the player wanted by French club PSG.
Reports have it that the Ligue 1 outfit is ready to offer the player a season-long loan deal with a possible option to make it permanent.
With the arrival of Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, the Chelsea manager is no longer interested in Rudiger and this has sparked interest in PSG.
