The Defence Headquarters has said that in three months Nigerians troops eliminated criminals and rescued 321 kidnap victims. gathered that the coordinator, Defence media operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, disclosed this at a media briefing in Abuja on Friday, October 2.

Enenche highlighting the major successes made by the Armed Forces of Nigeria across the country between July and September 2020, noted that the troops engaged in a number of land, maritime and air operations.

Meanwhile, reported that the Defence Headquarters said 13 Boko Haram terrorists alongside six women and 17 children from Kodila village have surrendered to troops of 151 Task Force Battalion at Banki junction in Bama local government area of Borno state.

The coordinator, Defence media operations disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, September 27, in Abuja.

Enenche said the terrorists surrendered due to sustained aerial bombardment and aggressive intensive clearance operation by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole in the northeast.
