A presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has denied media reports claiming that he used the presidential jet for his recent wedding.

Ahmad's wedding which held on Friday, September 25, in Katsina State witnessed the presence of political figures and family members.

But as soon as the wedding photos emerged, a rumour in the media claimed that the presidential jet was deployed for the wedding in violation of proper procedure.

However, Ahmad on Twitter clarified that the jet was never deployed for his wedding.

He explained that the only time the jet featured in his wedding pictures was when he went to the airport to welcome the representatives of the president who came to his wedding ceremony.

Ahmad said his friends who attended the ceremony came and left via road transportation.

In another news, a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @SpendoGustav0 has revealed what happened to the relationship of his uncle and how his woman dealt with him.

In a tweet on Wednesday, September 23, the man said that his uncle deposited the sum of N2 million into his girlfriend's account.

In a big twist, the lady was said to have used the money to process her visa and travelled out of the country.
