Barcelona have reportedly turned down a staggering £137 million offer from an unknown club for teenage sensation Ansu Fati this window.
The 17-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United after their failure to land their top target Jadon Sancho.
They were unable to meet Borussia Dortmund's demands for the England international during the stipulated period of negotiations.
A number of other teams have also shown interest in the youngster who broke into the Blaugrana senior team last campaign.
Sources claim the 17-year-old is a big part of the Catalans future following the mass exodus of big stars leaving the club this window.
Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Nelson Semedo have already exited the Nou Camp but a few others are still tipped to exit the club before the transfer market closes.
Apart from the Red Devils, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in the highly-rated forward.
Fati is contracted to Barcelona until the summer of 2022 but the club is hoping to extend his reign beyond then.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Ansu Fati has signed a fresh deal at Catalan club Barcelona for him to remain at the club until 2024 with an astonishing £367m buy-out clause etched in the contract.
The 17-year-old who has just been officially promoted to the first team has agreed to remain with the Blaugrana until 2024.
He agreed a fresh two-year deal on his existing contract which should expire in 2022, while his release clause was also increased by £211m.
Fati has also been handed No.22 shirt that has been vacated by Arturo Vidal who has left the club to join Italian club Inter Milan.
