Lincoln City vs Liverpool ended in an overwhelming 7-2 victory for the Reds as they progressed to the next stage of the competition.
Curtis Jones and Takumi Minamino both scored a brace as Xherdan Shaqiri, Marko Grujic and Divock Origi completed the comprehensive win over the League One side.
Tayo Edun and Lewis Montsma put their names on the scoresheet for Lincoln as the match produced nine goals.
Jurgen Klopp's men got off to a flying start as Shaqiri scored an exquisite free-kick from a tight angle as early as the ninth minute to make it 1-0.
Minamino also delivered a top-quality finish in the 19th minute to make it 2-0. Jones extended the lead for the Premier League champions to make it 3-0.
And the England youngster grabbed his brace four minutes later to make it 4-0 before half time at the Sincil Bank Stadium.
Seventeen seconds after the restart, Minamino struck his shot from outside the 18-yard box as Lincoln City goalkeeper was completely beaten to make it 5-0.
Lincoln have been asking questions since Liverpool's captain on the night Virgil van Dijk was substituted for Fabinho.
Edun was at the end of a well-worked move to score on the hour mark as it became 5-1. Grujic restored the five-goal cushion in the 65th minute to make it 6-1.
Montsma headed in from close range to make the score 6-2 as Lincoln City were playing for pride.
Liverpool still had one trick left in the bag as Origi struck scored with a minute left to play and made it 7-2.
The Reds will now face Arsenal in the 4th Round of the competition, a repeat of last season's fixture at the same stage.
