Tiemoue Bakayoko who was loaned to AS Monaco last season is reportedly in talks with French champions Paris Saint Germain as the player is not in Frank Lampard’s plan at Chelsea.

ESPN are reporting that PSG are desperate in signing a formidable defensive midfielder and now they are considering a deal for Bakayoko.

Recall that in 2018, the now PSG sporting director Leonardo, signed the player to Italian club AC Milan during his time there.

Latest reports have it that PSG are looking to secure a loan deal for now with an option to make the move permanent for next season.

Bakayoko has good experience in the French top flight, having made over 100 appearances for Monaco where he also won a Ligue 1 title.

Meanwhile, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is facing a lengthy prison sentence if he is found guilty at his World Cup TV rights bribery trial.

He has been alleged to have offered former FIFA secretary general, Jerome Valcke the use of his house in Italy to lobby for TV right for the 2026 and 2030 World Cup tournaments.

However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told his club Paris Saint Germain that he wants to leave at the end of this season, and this is coming amid interests from Premier League club Liverpool.

His current deal with the Ligue 1 champions expires in June 2022, but the forward might not be patient enough to see out his deal with them.
