A Nigerian man identified as Adeola Owosho has taken to social media to disclose that he lost N1.8 million while doing business and almost got depressed.
Owosho, who took to his LinkedIn page to make the disclosure, said he borrowed N500,000 from his father to go into a business he started learning while he was in his final year.
He said his father gave him the money from his gratuity which he had just received.
According to him, he made three times his capital in a few months but lost it all in a day, which was on May 29, 2018 adding:
"I used their toilet about 15 times in a few hours because of the panic"
The young man, however, did not disclose the type of business that cost him the money, but promised to talk about it someday.
He said despite the failure, he kept his head up high and learnt the greatest lessons of his life that will forever guide his path.
"Sometimes it is best to fail early in life. That way you learn vital truths that open your mind."
The young man advised people to pray to fail early.
