Barcelona who are Spanish La Liga side have reportedly agreed with deal to sign United States defender, Sergino Dest who currently plays for Dutch side Ajax.

Sergino Dest has been one of the best defenders in Europe considering his superb performances so far for Ajax in all competitions.

Catalunya Radio are reporting that Catalan giants have reached an agreement for Dest and will pay €20 million and anotehr €5m in variables for them to get his signature.

Barcelona are financing the deal after selling Nelson Semedo to Wolves, and it seems they may have been helped because Dest is a Barcelona fan and wants to play with Messi.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Arturo Vidal dumped Barcelona and has officially sealed his deal to Italian club Inter Milan.

The Chilean has signed his two-year contract with Inter, including an option for a third, after arriving from Barcelona for free.

It was gathered that his former club, Barcelona and Inter Milan reached an agreement for the transfer of the player and the Italian team will pay the Spanish 1 million euros in variables.

The 33-year-old leaves Barcelona after 96 games, 11 goals and 10 assists in all competitions for the Catalan giants since arriving from Bayern Munich in summer 2018.

He follows Ivan Rakitic in heading out of Barcelona this summer with further departures expected before the transfer window closes on October 5.

Right-back Nelson Semedo is expected to be the next player out of the door, while Luis Suarez’s future remains uncertain.

Captain Lionel Messi and Arturo were inseparable since the Chilean joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich with both players visibly seen as friends on and off the pitch.
