Odion Ighalo who seems to be a staunch lover of Nigerian music has showered praises on two rave of the moment Burna Boy and Davido.

The Manchester United striker who grew up in Ajegunle area of Lagos has posted several clips of himself frolicking with Naija songs in the dressing room at the Old Trafford.

In a recent chat with a Ghanaian journalist, the former Watford of England striker was asked to pick between Burna Boy and Davido.

The 31-year-old smiled and managed to respond: “I love Burna Boy too, but I’ll still pick Davido,” he said.

Recall that at the latter stages of last season, Ighalo and France international Paul Pogba were spotted dancing to Wizkid's song titles ‘Soco’ to celebrate their Premier League superb win over Bournemouth.

Odion Ighalo was seen holding a device blaring playing the sound by Wizkid as Pogba danced himself away.

In another footage, the Nigerian appears to have confirmed the song that gave him the motivation to hit the ground running when he joined Manchester United earlier this year.

The attacker has recorded five goals and one assist in across competitions since his dream move to the club on transfer deadline day in January.

However, not many seem to know his driving force despite just returning to the Premier League for the first time since he left the Hornets for China a few years ago.

Ighalo took to social media to post a short video of himself singing along to Nathaniel Bassey's song titled ‘There is a Place’ while in his car at the club's training ground.

And almost immediately, the Nigerian gospel artist replied, saying: "So this is the song that makes our brother score for Man United right? Man United must come and pay o. Bless you, bro, & keep shining Ighalo Jude."

Meanwhile Legit.ng earlier reported that a goal each from Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford, and Mason Greenwood were all Manchester United needed to cruise to the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

The Red Devils had to step up their game towards the end of the meeting to ensure absolute victory over Championship side Luton Town in the third round of their encounter.

Though not convincing early enough in the opening half of the fixture, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bounced back to winning ways after their 3-1 Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford a few days ago.
