Barcelona right-back, Nelson Semedo, has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers this transfer window.
The Wanderers are willing to offer the Spanish League giants as much as €40 million for the 26-year-old defender this summer.
Reports reveal that the Portugal international will arrive in England a few days from now to finalise his move to the Molineux Stadium outfit.
Meanwhile, the Blaugrana have equally shifted focus on signing Ajax's Sergino Dest and Norwich City's Max Aarons should Semedo leave them as reported by ESPN FC.
Nuno Espírito Santo has been shopping for a new right-back following Matt Doherty's move to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer.
The publication claims that Barca desire to allow Semedo leave, but the influence of his manager, Jorge Mendes, at Wolves made him an obvious target.
Ronald Koeman has also shown that he prefers Sergi Roberto to Semedo, with the Spaniard playing all 90 minutes in Saturday's friendly win against Elche.
Since he joined Barcelona from Benfica in a deal valued around €30m, Semedo has failed to own the right-back position despite making 124 appearances for the club.
Fellow La Liga club Atletico Madrid made attempts to sign him last but former handler Ernesto Valverde stopped the deal from going through.
However, Koeman will have to raise money from Semedo's deal to sign either of Dest or Aarons but sources say the club will not overpay.
They will have to contend with European champions, Bayern Munich, leading the race for the United States international, while Norwich have so far rejected Barca's advances for England under-21 international Aarons.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo appears wanted by Manchester City who are ready to bolster their squad ahead of next Premier League season.
Pep Guardiola who is the Citizens' manager wants the Portuguese footballer to produce serious competition for England international Kyle Walker at the Etihad stadium.
According to the report on Daily Mail, Manchester City are even ready to give Barcelona Joao Cancelo plus cash for the possibility of them to sign Nelson Semedo this summer.
