Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for reigning Italian champions has taken to his official social media account to reveal the new IFFHS world's best international top-scorer trophy he just won.

This will now be the fourth time that the Portugal international will be winning the award in his career thank to his superb performances for Juventus last term.

Ronaldo has been in top form lately becoming the second player in the history of the game to score 100 goals and above.

The five-time Ballon d’Or-winner scored his ninth hat-trick when he made a comeback for Portugal in November 2019. The hat-trick made it 99 international goals.

Last year, the former Real Madrid star scored 19 goals in 10 games which was an incredible achievement.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo and his Juventus teammates are preparing for the coming season in the Italian Serie A where they will be defending their title.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Bruno Fernandes who plays for Premier League side Manchester United vowed to help Cristiano Ronaldo extend his incredible goal-scoring record with Portugal.

Recently, the Juventus superstar scored his 101 goals for Portugal against Sweden in Nations League match and received lots of praise from fans and pundits.

Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo also has the same records in club level having scored more than 100 goals for Manchester United, Real Madrid and now Juventus.

Fernandes explained that Cristiano Ronaldo's scoring prowess is such that fans around the world think he's had a bad game if he doesn't find the net.

He added that even Ronaldo's fellow teammates at the national team do wait and hope that the Juventus star score for them.
