Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly planning to make a £75 million move for the duo of Ismaila Sarr and Nuno Mendes this window.
This is coming after the Reds are clearly on the verge of landing Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Spaniard penned an emotional goodbye message to the Bavarian club and fans ahead of his switch to the Premier League side.
Reports reveal that Thiago's move could be completed by this weekend but he will not be able to take part in their trip to Chelsea.
The 29-year-old midfielder's current deal with the German League giants expires next summer but he appears to have made up his mind on joining the Reds in a deal around £30m.

The Independent claims the Reds have shifted focus to landing Sarr and Mendes and the duo could cost £36m and £41m respectively.
