Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly planning to make a £75 million move for the duo of Ismaila Sarr and Nuno Mendes this window.
This is coming after the Reds are clearly on the verge of landing Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Spaniard penned an emotional goodbye message to the Bavarian club and fans ahead of his switch to the Premier League side.
Reports reveal that Thiago's move could be completed by this weekend but he will not be able to take part in their trip to Chelsea.
The 29-year-old midfielder's current deal with the German League giants expires next summer but he appears to have made up his mind on joining the Reds in a deal around £30m.
Daily Star reports that the Anfield outfit after Alcantara's move might have additional cash to sign two more deals despite the previous comments of Jurgen Klopp on Chelsea's spending spree this window.
The Independent claims the Reds have shifted focus to landing Sarr and Mendes and the duo could cost £36m and £41m respectively.
Sources close to the Senegal international reveals that he will most likely leave Watfordafter dropping from the EPL last campaign.
Sarr joined the Hornets from Rennes in a deal valued around £30m last summer.
Mendes on the other hand has attracted the attention of both Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as Juventus and Milan in Serie A.
The Sporting Lisbon star has a £41m buyout clause in his deal with the Portuguese club after breaking into the team's first team since he joined them at the age of 10.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Thiago Alcantara’s deal to Liverpool is gradually becoming a reality as reports say the Premier League outfit is closing in on a €30million deal for the Bayern Munich midfielder.
Both clubs have been in talks over the potential switch of the player and the latest reports by The Athletic have revealed that negotiations have been accelerated.
The German club reportedly wants the deal to be finalised before the new Bundesliga season begins.
