Thiago Alcantara has sent his goodbye messages to Bayern Munich and to the fans at large as he edges closer to joining Liverpool.
The Premier League champions will pay £20million for his services in the next four years with £5m in add-ons and will wear the No.6 jersey.
The Spanish midfielder helped the Bavarians win the Champions League title and has officially brought his seven-year spell in Munich to a close.
Thiago sent an emotional post on his social media handle to say goodbye and appreciate the opportunities he has had with the club.

"I have made the most difficult decision of my sports career.
"I will close this chapter in this wonderful football club where I have grown as a player for seven years.
"Triumphs, joys and also hard times but what I am most proud of is that I arrived in Munich as a young man full of dreams and now I will leave completely fulfilled with the club, a history and a culture.
"Here I learned to love a tradition that I am now saying goodbye to but which I will never forget.
"My decision is purely a sporting nature as a soccer player, I want new challenges to develop myself further. Bavaria will always be my home, thank you FC Bayern."
Alcantara joined Bayern in the summer of 2013 after following his manager Pep Guardiola to the Allianz Arena.
And he has won seven Bundesliga titles and four German Cups as well as the Club Wolrd Cup and the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara appears to have agreed to join Premier League champions, Liverpool, this summer.
The 29-year-old was part of the Bayern Munich squad that won the Champions League title after beating Paris Saint Germain 1-0 in the final of the competition.
Sources close to the Spaniard reveals he has agreed personal terms with the Merseyside outfit while enjoying an elongated break with his family in Barcelona according to Daily Mail.
