Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Kiddwaya has once again spoken about the motivation that led him to participate in the fifth season of the reality show despite his wealthy background.

Kiddwaya in an exclusive chat with Legit TV explained that money was never the real motivation for his participation in the reality show.

Responding to a question from a fan about who wondered why the billionaire showed up to compete for the prize money of N85 million, Kiddwaya was very quick to correct the impression that any amount of money should be considered as great or small.

According to him, it is very tough to make a single dime in Nigeria, and as such, he does not condone the idea of people describing a certain amount of money as small.

"It is hard to make a single penny in this country, I don’t like when people say N500k, 40k or N5 is small because it is not and that money can do things for people and change their lives. Even N1k can change a person’s life for a day," Kiddwaya said.

Speaking further on the matter, Kidd explained that the amount of money involved was never the goal for his participation. The ex-housemate, however, stressed that he can never come out to say any amount of money is small.

In addition, Kiddwaya explained the reason for his humility stems from the fact that he is aware of his upbringing and the situation of some other people in the world.
