Lovers finally build their own house after bank rejected home loan

- A man revealed online that a bank told him and his partner they could not afford to buy a house in the suburbs

- Instead of giving up on his dream to own a home, Sandile Hadebe decided to build his own crib in a township

With the current state of the country and the insanely high house prices, not everyone is in a position to buy their own properties. Sadly, many people will never in their lives own a house.

However, one man decided to make a plan after a bank told him he could not afford to buy a house in the suburbs.

Instead of giving up on his dream crib, he decided to build a house in the township.

Taking to Facebook, Sandile Hadebe showed off the progress he and his bae, Gabi, have been making with their home.

He captioned the post:

"31st July VS 31st August 2020... The bank said we cannot afford it in the Burbs, so we decided to build it in the township for cash within a month. Hadebe Residence."

In other news, a couple has built a shipping container home in the woods despite having no experience in construction.

The unidentified couple, who said they thought they were going to buy a giant tent, noted that they quit their jobs, sold their homes and now live in the woods.

Meanwhile, previously reported that social media user Tumelo Warona posted snaps on Twitter of a house a young architect built for his mother.

Warona identified the man by his Twitter handle, @leoblackmann, and captioned the post: "A young Limpopo Architect built his mother this house at their village in Limpopo Province outside of Polokwane."
