Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona reportedly made massive offer to sign Gabonese striker Aubameyang from Arsenal before the African star signed a new deal.

Since the appointment of Ronald Koeman as the new coach at Barcelona, the Dutchman has been trying to rebuild the team ahead of the coming League season.
Koeman is aware that it is a must for him to deliver at the Nou Camp next season so as to avoid the axe like Setien.
Aubameyang was in great form for Arsenal last season helping the Gunners to win the English FA Cup where they beat Chelsea in the final.
And after winning the FA Cup, the former Borussia Dortmund striker was linked with a move away from Arsenal with Chelsea and Manchester United said to be interested.
According to the latest development by Goal citing Sky Sports, Barcelona were also interested in signing Aubameyang.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang and his teammates at Arsenal will be playing in the Europa League this season thanks to their win over Chelsea at Wembley which gave them the ticket.
