Charlie McNeil has moved from Manchester City to neighbours Manchester United after scoring a massive 600 for the youth teams at the Etihad side, SPORTbible reports.
The youngster who just turned 17 has reportedly agreed terms with Manchester United and has already passed fitness test at the club.
Both clubs have been at loggerheads over the player as they were heading to the tribunal over the fee for the striker, Times reports.
It was gathered that the player has been a topic of negotiations between both teams for some time before they finally reached an agreement.
McNeil who is a United fan joined Manchester City in 2014 from his boyhood club for £12,000 and had scored so much goals for the club.
He was called up into the England U16 squad, but decided to leave City in the summer when his contract expired due to a lack of opportunities for him at under 18 level for the club.
The likes of Juventus, RB Leipzig and Rangers were all interested in signing the teenager and United will be very happy to have beat their European rivals to a potentially big signing.
And this is coming barely 2 days that Man United have reportedly fended-off stiff competition from a number of clubs to land the signature of Atletico Madrid youngster Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho has spent a better part of his career with Atletico, growing through the ranks at the La Liga club. Daily Mail citing Spanish outlet Marca reports United won the race to land the promising footballer on a five-year deal.
The 16-year-old's move to Old Trafford came at a time Atletico were looking to have him commit his future with them.
The Spaniard will now link up with United's youth system where he will continue his development.
