Premier League side Crystal Palace have completed the signing of out-of-favour Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi on a season-long loan deal this summer.
The 26-year-old Belgian forward is understood to be surplus to requirement at Stamford Bridge with the likes of Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud preferred ahead of him.

Italian presenter and sports writer Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on his Twitter page @FabrizioRomano on Thursday, September 10.
He said: "Chelsea now working to sell players. Michy Batshuayi agreed to join Crystal Palace on loan, talks still on with AC Milan for Tiemoué Bakayoko [but no agreement yet].
"Everton have asked for Fikayo Tomori, while Zappacosta and Emerson Palmieri are also set to leave the club next week," he added.
Chelsea were said to have handed Batshuayi a year extension to prevent him from leaving as a free agent next summer. This means that they will be in control when another club wants his services.
