Former Super Eagles star Benedict Akwuegbu has begged Nigerians not to abandon coach Samson Siasia who is currently battling against the life ban imposed on him by FIFA.

It was in August 2019 that FIFA came out with a release banning former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia for life after being accused of taking bribes while in charge of Nigerian team.

The world football governing body claimed that Samson Siasia failed to replay their mails which made them to come out with their judgment.

However, Samson Siasia denied ignoring the messages from FIFA claiming that he did not check his mails and must have missed the messages from the world football chiefs.

The 53-year-old then appealed the judgment from FIFA and the sum of N36.4 million is needed for him to deposit before the hearing on the case can commence at CAS.

More than eight months now that Siasia has been opened a Gofundme account where he is begging Nigerians for help, he has been able to get only N232,000 out of N36.4 million.

“It’s a shame, a big shame of the highest order on the nation if Siasia is abandoned at this his greatest moment of need.

“This is one person that has given his utmost patriotism to his fatherland. As a player, Siasia represented this country at youth and senior levels,'' Benedict Akwuegbu told Complete Sports.

Before leaving the house, Erica was seen on live television uttering some bitter language against a fellow housemate and also pouring water on the bed of another.

These infuriated the Big Brother chiefs and she was called out and thrown out of the house in an embarrassing fashion.

But immediately after Erica was sent out of the Big Brother house, a certain Ehizode Irefo organized a fundraiser online for the disqualified housemate.
