Erica who was one of the housemates at the ongoing 2020 Big Brother show was recently disqualified and asked to leave after being given three strikes for misconducts.

Before leaving the house, Erica was seen on live television uttering some bitter language against a fellow housemate and also pouring water on the bed of another.

These infuriated the Big Brother chiefs and she was called out and thrown out of the house in an embarrassing fashion.

But immediately after Erica was sent out of the Big Brother house, a certain Ehizode Irefo organized a fundraiser online for the disqualified housemate.

Surprisingly within 24 hours, Nigerians donated $15,943 (around N6.1 million) of the $100,000 targeted for Erica which was a proof that Erica is still being loved despite what happened.

However, that has been compared to the situation former Super Eagles player and coach Samson Siasia found himself in which he was banned for life by FIFA for an allegation yet to be proving.

Samson Siasia was accused of taking bribes while coaching Nigerian national team in which FIFA claimed that they sent emails to him so as for Siasia to defend himself.

The 53-year-old claimed that he did not get the emails claimed by FIFA and therefore appealed the decision for FIFA to ban him for life.

Total money Samson Siasia needed to appeal his ban is $250,000 which is around N96 million, but he was able to get only $605 which is N232,000 after begging Nigerians for help through Gofundme.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how ex-Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi stated that he does not know Samson Siasia to be a person who will get himself involved in match-fixing activities.

Former Nigerian coach Samson Siasia has been banned for life by FIFA for agreeing to "receive bribes in relation to the manipulation of matches."

While investigations are ongoing, the 2008 Olympic silver and Rio 2014 bronze medalist has tendered an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports CAS, pleading that court rescinds FIFA's decision.

In his reaction, Chinedu Obasi who was part of Samson Siasia’s team to U20 World Cup and the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing where the Nigerian teams were defeated in the final on both occasions by Argentina, says he does not know the tactician to be such a person.
