The midfielder spent last campaign on loan at Getafe
Spanish League outfit Granada are reportedly edging closer to landing Chelsea star Kennedy on a season-long loan deal this summer.
The 24-year-old recently returned to Stamford Bridge after spending the 2019-20 season at La Liga side Getafe where he scored three goals and five assists in 27 appearances.
Before joining the Rojiblancos on loan last term, he has spent time with Watford and Newcastle United.
And the Brazilian is about to embark on his fifth stint away from the London club if he joins the Spanish side according to SunSport.
The publication reveals that The Magpies made an attempt to secure his signature on a permanent basis two years ago but the Blues' £30m asking price pushed them away.
Meanwhile, The Athletic's David Ornstein dropped the hints of his move back to Spain on Twitter, saying: "Chelsea winger Kenedy having medical with Granada ahead of loan to La Liga club."
Since he joined the Stamford Bridge side five years ago, he featured in 27 games, with three goals and three assists to his name.
Though Frank Lampard is building a much younger team to work with next season, the Brazilian star has now been considered surplus to requirement at the club.
It is also unsure if Chelsea will extend his stay beyond the summer of 2022.
The Blues legend has made some quality signing this window with the likes of Thiago Silva, Hakim Ziyech, and Timo Werner among a few others.
Lampard, 42, will be ready to offload the likes of Danny Drinkwater, Michy Batshuayi and Davide Zappacosta. He will also consider allowing Ross Barkley and Jorginho to leave for the right price.
